Sydney university student Caroline Pemberton has been chosen to represent Australia at this year's Miss World pageant in China.
The 20-year-old blonde, in her third attempt at the title, was selected ahead of 19 other finalists at a gala in Sydney on Wednesday night, News Ltd reports.
Her charity work with UNICEF and Sydney's Father Riley's Youth Off the Streets impressed the panel of 12 judges, News Limited said.
The part-time business analyst, whose brother Rex hit the headlines last year for being the youngest Australian to scale the Seven Summits, also placed second overall in the swimsuit, evening gown and talent sections of the contest.read more
