Australian pop singer Dannii Minogue will be the new judge on popular British TV talent show, The X Factor.
Minogue has signed a STG500,000 ($A1.2 million) two-year contract to join the notoriously blunt Simon Cowell and Sharon Osborne, the wife of former heavy metal star Ozzy Osborne, on the judging panel, Britain's Daily Mirror reported.
"I will be back in London come European summer, doing some TV performances," Minogue reportedly said.
An X Factor source said Minogue would "add some glamour to the show".
"She has had top 10 hits for 15 years and she can't wait to be a mentor to new performers," the source told the newspaper.read more
