Johnson to take stage at Blues and Roots

Popular US musician Jack Johnson is set to make a surprise appearance at the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay this weekend.
The Hawaiian-born performer will join ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra), who are signed under his independent record label Brushfire Records, during their set at the Easter music festival on Friday.
While ALO is relatively unknown in Australia, the band's frontman Zach Gill says the Californian-based group hopes to emulate Johnson's success in the Australia market.
Johnson's In Between Dreams, which featured smash hit Sitting, Waiting, Wishing, was the number one selling album in Australia when it was released in 2005.read more
